I entered Bailey in her first show July 21st 2007 Aledo, TX

We entered and placed: Halter- 5th place, Walk Trot open class 2nd place (approx 12 riders!)Walk trot 4 years and younger 1st place!, Walk trot adult class 2nd place

Yes my baby girl was beyond excellent! She was quiet and did not seem to care at all. She got a little afraid when the horses were loping in the English classes, but when I warmed her up she was a star! When they announced that I placed 1st in the 4 year and younger class the place applauded her! As I was getting my blue ribbon people were asking what kind of horse she was! I said PMU! Does anyone know what Premarin is? This was a moment in history for me! I finally am telling my story and my passion to stop the slaughter for the PMU's. Bailey and I were not even nervous. Wendy White my trainer said have fun!
So I did not even think of winning. I thought about having a great ride. It was fun!I want to thank Wendy for all of her help. She has created a path for me to follow. She has found my weaknesses and helped me work through my fears. She is an incredible trainer and I highly recommend her for lessons and horse training. All of my horses are trained by her.
Another PMU rescue, Charlie, is also showing and doing very well. His rider is Geri Cronenworth and she is doing a wonderful job with him.

November 2 2007

Passion Horse went to a career day at an local elementary school. We talked all about horses and how we rescue. We told the kids about kindness to animals. We had a great time and hope to do this again soon. We want to inspire kids and animals!

Fund Raising Event - June 23, 2007, Benbrook Tractor Supply

We invited Tiffany who also runs a small rescue in Cresson to attend with us. She brought her Ebu, llama, lamb and a mini horse. We had a great time and quite a few guests. We did however have lots of rain. Will let you know the next event. It probably will not be until after the heat of Summer is over.

We had a great turn out for our Harvest fest in Benbrook! We had invited Tiffany who runs a rescue also! The featured guest was PT who is her turkey. He has no idea he is one and loves HUGS! He is so cute and sweet. Tiffany said the next day he was all depressed because he had no one to entertain him! He loved the kids at the fest! We had a great time and met all kinds of new people. This event had hay rides and we all went on one! Merrilee with Tractor supply brought the tractor and cart for all of us to ride in! Thanks Merrilee! We also want to thank Michelle Youssi for inviting us. She works with the YMCA.
