Wendy is extremely passionate about her training. Her methods are gentle but firm. She rewards any effort of the horse to understand what she is teaching. Wendy believes firmly in soft mouths and a respectful horse. I do want to stress that Wendy has trained 3 of my horses and people are amazed when they ride them or watch me ride. Once you ride a horse Wendy has trained it is hard to want to ride any other.

My boss Annie Warren rode Baxter one of the horses that Wendy trained. Annie does Hunter under saddle and is a very strong rider. She was amazed with the lightness and responsiveness in Baxter. She could not believe that in 90 days Wendy was able to do so much with this horse. I want to stress that Wendy trains horses to THEIR potential not our expectations. She stresses to me that each horse has different abilities. She helps owners define which their horses have.

I want to recommend Wendy. I am an extremely passionate person about my horses. I am also extremely picky. I trust Wendy completely. I would recommend her for any horse at any level.

Wendy also gives riding lessons for all ages and ability levels. I have been lessoning with Wendy for over 1 ½ years and she has really taken the time to define my fears and goals. She works at a pace that is acceptable for both you and her. She makes you feel safe and she cares about you! I used to be very afraid to lope and I now lope all the time! She really boosts your confidence and helps you achieve your goals. I would like to thank her for her time and dedication to caring about my path in the horse world.
